Shanghai Pudong International Airport is one of the three biggest airports in China. It is the main hub for China Eastern Airlines, Shanghai Airlines and China Southern Airlines, and a major international hub for Air China, offering flights to more than 60 domestic destinations and 70 international and regional destinations. It consists of two terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. From Jan. 2013, it has been offering 72 hours visa free transit for 45 countries. The airport shuttle bus, taxi, maglev train take you running between Pudong Airport and downtown area of Shanghai.

Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport is the main domestic airport serving Shanghai and a hub for China Eastern Airlines, Shanghai Airlines, Juneyao Airlines and Spring Airlines. From Jan. 2013, it has been offering 72 hours visa free transit for 45 countries. It has two terminals – terminal 1 and terminal 2. Terminal 1 is used for Spring Airlines and flights for Japan, South Korea; and Terminal 2 is used for most of the airlines. It is about 20 minutes’ transfer between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
