Day 1 Hangzhou Arrival & Anji (L)

Good morning! Your local travel guide and driver will meet you at Hangzhou airport / train station or your hotel and escort you to Anji County in Huzhou City with driving about 1.5-2 hours. Start your exploration of nature and fun highlights in Anji!
Anji is the No.1 home of bamboos! First, go to China Bamboo Expo Park, the largest bamboo themed park in China, to admire the best scenery, culture and history of bamboos that is one of the best famous cultural relic symbols in China. Take a terrifically pleasant stroll at Bamboo Kingdom to admire more than 300 sorts of bamboo trees of tall and short, heavy and skeleton, straight and zigzag, etc. and soak in the faint scent along the winding paths. Visit Bamboo Museum to look closely at various interesting and excellent bamboo artifacts and tools, diverse paintings, poems, etc. to discover the profound over 6,000-year-old culture and history of bamboos in China. Besides, go to Panda House to see the happy life of innocent giant pandas at their cool bamboo paradise! Get fully relaxed at the ocean of bamboos in nice green and feel the featured Chinese idyllic life charm of living in the tranquil and literal world of bamboos. (Optional Activity: You can also choose to take a bamboo raft to marvel at the fabulous nature and artistic conception on the lake, which needs extra payment.)
Next, explore Hidden Dragon Waterfall which is praised as the “Little Huangguoshu Waterfall” with diverse distinct waterfall sceneries. Enjoy your sightseeing hiking on the mountain, in the valley, between the cliffs, etc. to enjoy the cool and authentic natural waterscape and emerald view there with lots of fun!
Then, visit Zhongnan Baicaoyuan, the large popular leisure rural scenic and entertainment park, particularly favored for family visitors with kids, to appreciate the natural view of forests, grassland, wetland, bamboo of sea, etc. and lots of fun things to play to the most. You’ll admire diverse seasonal flowers and verdant trees spreading the different parks for visual pleasure at the Botanical World. And the Animal World is the best educational place to help your kids say hello to the lions, tigers, deer, monkeys, giraffes, swans, peacocks, and more beasts and birds. You can enjoy various performances and shows about Chinese ethnic minorities, musics & dances, etc. the Scenic Performance Area. Day 2 Anji & Hangzhou Departure (B, L)
Today’s highlights: Sky Land Hiking and Various Outdoor Activities
After your breakfast, your guide and driver will meet you at the hotel and then take you to discover the scenery and exciting fun of Yunshang Caoyuan (or called Sky Land), which is an exciting scenic and entertaining resort place about 1,168 meters above sea and boasts about 100 hectares alpine meadow. Also, it has different fun of spring hiking, summer hot escaping, autumn stars appreciating and winter skiing particularly for the favor of people around Shanghai, Zhejiang and whole Yangtze River Delta in Southeast China.
Take the 10 minutes’ tourist bus and about 20 minutes’ cable car up to Sky Land scenic area and enjoy the fabulous sightseeing of verdant forest, floating mists, white clouds, etc. Take your relaxing hiking along the winding paths and steps on the mountain and enjoy various interesting and thrilling outdoor activities. You can walk along the hanging glass bridges between mountains and leaning the cliff, stagger on the 130-meter-long suspension wooden bridge above the valley, run or jump over real different gaps on the bridge above the mountain, climb on the vertical cliff, swing boldly on the precipice, etc. to speed up your heartbeat and release completely with creaming and laughing. If you want more fun and exciting feeling, you can choose to try the paragliding to admire the spectacular cool sightseeing from the sky. (Paragliding and more other activities not included in the entrance fee need extra payments. Please tell your interesting activities to enjoy to your local guide in advance!)
In the late afternoon, after the fun time, take the cable car and tourist bus to exit the scenic park. Your guide and driver will escort you to the airport or railway station in Hangzhou for your flight / train to the next destination or home. Tour ends!

This is a very short customised arrangement during which the China border is not fully opened yet.
China Discovery charges a premium though, but it delivered without fail.
The VOA is very new to even the custom officers who were on duty when I cleared the immigration check at Shenzhen as well as the HK side. I must say that the agent did his professional service by always on the call to allow on-site changes of my arrival time because immigration clearance was so unpredictable. I can be assured that someone is just outside the arrival hall to pick me up and, I could tell the immigration officer that my local contact person is just waiting outside to pick me once I am cleared with this new procedure.
It is always safer to have a local contact to guide you and make arrangements for your local transfer when language ( Cantonese instead of Mandarin) is a problem in China .
