After imperial culture and history exploration in the iconic sites of Beijing, boarding the newest Fuxing Train at the highest speed of 350km/h is a pretty cool and popular way to travel to Shanghai, a world class modern city with mix of East and West culture. There are over 40 high speed trains running from Beijing to Shanghai from about 6:40am to 21:30pm, including nearly 40 G trains (11 Fuxing trains leaving on hour) and 3 D bullet trains. So is the opposite route. The whole train journey takes just 4.5 ~ 6.5 hours, largely shortened from the conventional 15 or 19 hours to less than half a day and passes by Jinan and Nanjing. After completing your Shanghai tour, you can transfer to Hangzhou, Suzhou, Mt. Huangshan, Nanjing and other destinations from Shanghai within hours by short-distance high speed trains. (The 3 regular D trains depart and arrive at Shanghai Railway Station while others all arranged at Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station.)
Beijing Shanghai High Speed Fuxing Trains
The Beijing Shanghai High Speed Railway has introduced the newest and most advanced Fuxing Trains, which are designed at the highest speed of 400km/h and runs at a normal speed of 350km/h. The fastest Fuxing train only needs 4 hours 18 minutes to travel between Beijing and Shanghai. If you would like to experience superb facilities and fast speed of China Fuxing Trains, there are 15 pairs of Fuxing Trains available on the route. From Beijing to Shanghai, you can choose from 15 G trains (G1, G3, G5, G7…) that run every hour on the hour between 07:00 and 19:00. Generally the train trip takes about 4.5 hours.
