What to Wear

When it enters April, a long-sleeved shirt with a light coat will usually be sufficient in the normal days if you only stay at the foot area. Notice for Monkeys on Mount Emei

Visitors to Mount Emei can see adorable monkeys all year round. They often appear actively at Qingyin Pavilion, Honghcunping, Jiulaodong and Xixiangchi.

But please be cautious while passing the monkey zones, since they are naughty sometimes and may grab your belongings like camera, mobile phone, food, etc. In few cases, some monkeys may attack the tourists. You can go to see the monkeys at the safest area from Qingyin Pavilion to Hongchunping where you can take a photo with them under the guidance of many professional staff.
