This morning, your local travel guide and driver will meet you at Hangzhou airport / train station or your hotel and escort you to the foot of Mogan Mountain National Scenic Spot in Deqing County in Huzhou City with driving about 1.5-2 hours.

After your arrival, your guide will help you check in at your hotel. Get relaxed at the hotel and enjoy your leisure vacation time appreciating the refreshing sightseeing of endless sea of bamboos and fresh air with rural tranquility. Just find back that happy-go-lucky yourself!
In the afternoon, you can continue your personal time reposing or in a daze. Good morning! Enjoy your energy breakfast at the hotel, and then your guide and driver will escort you from your hotel to take the tourist bus up to visit Mogan Mountain National Scenic Spot. You’ll discover the sightseeing and historical culture of Moganshan by taking the sightseeing vehicle and hiking.
Visit the Sword Pond that is the No.1 attraction of Moganshan with flying waterfalls and the statues of Moye and Ganjiang who are a couple casting swords under Wu King’s order in the end of Spring and Autumn Period and finally became two famous swords by Chinese legend. Next, go to the Hole Scenic Spot to have a bird view of groups of rural dwellings nestling at the “big hole” of the far stretching natural soft pile carpet of bamboos. Then, walk around The Cathedral completed in 1923 by an American to admire the typical mid-century castle designs with colorful enamels and discover its multiple functions in the old days. Continue to visit Baiyun Mountain Pavilion where Chiang Kai-shek and Song Meiling enjoyed their honeymoon in 1927 and the Residential House of Chiang Kai-shek with fine decorations to see their past life and entertainment of high quality. Later, ascend to Xuguang Tai to catch the superb panorama of Moganshan, like a natural painting with mists, sea of clouds, bamboo sea, near and far mountain ranges like layers of sea waves, colorful international villas, etc. The symbolic Naked Castle luxury hotel is right there for an admiration from a distance. Then, discover The Temporary Lodging of Chairman Mao also called Queen Hotel built in 1934, where the state leading was deeply affected by the wonder of Moganshan and created a famous poem. This is a very short customised arrangement during which the China border is not fully opened yet.
China Discovery charges a premium though, but it delivered without fail.
The VOA is very new to even the custom officers who were on duty when I cleared the immigration check at Shenzhen as well as the HK side. I must say that the agent did his professional service by always on the call to allow on-site changes of my arrival time because immigration clearance was so unpredictable. I can be assured that someone is just outside the arrival hall to pick me up and, I could tell the immigration officer that my local contact person is just waiting outside to pick me once I am cleared with this new procedure.
It is always safer to have a local contact to guide you and make arrangements for your local transfer when language ( Cantonese instead of Mandarin) is a problem in China .
