How to Make Payment for Your Tour and Service Provided by China Discovery

Our Payment Policy

For most of our tailor-made tour and services, after reaching an agreement with you, we will ask you to pay a deposit to secure your booking. Your travel consultant will inform you the deposit amounts which usually differs by tour and service types. Once we receiving your deposit, we will send you tour or travel service confirmation via Email. Payment of the balance of the price for any products or services booked is due 30 days before the departure date of the first product or service included in the applicable booking, which will be specified on the booking confirmation. If we do not receive all payments due in full and on time, we will remind you that payment is due before treating your booking as canceled by you.

When full payment is required?

Certain products or services, such as tickets booking, hotel booking, etc., may require you to make full payment at the time of booking. We will advise you of any such requirements prior to confirmation of the applicable booking. If a booking is made less than 45 days before the departure date of the first product included in the applicable booking, then the full amount must be paid at the time of booking.

Payment Methods We Accept

At our travel agency, we offer a variety of payment methods to make it easier for you to pay for our tour and services. You can choose from PayPal, Wire Transfer, Western Union Transfer, Alipay, WeChat Pay, cash, and more.

Please keep in mind the following:

It is highly recommended to seek the help of your travel consultant when making payment, as they can assist you in selecting the most appropriate payment method based on the real-time exchange rate and other factors. If you have already decided on your preferred payment method, please inform your travel consultant in advance to ensure the safety of your payment and to facilitate a smooth transaction.

Wire Transfer - Recommended for Large-amount Payment

A wire transfer is a method of electronic funds transfer that allows money to be sent from one bank account to another. It is a quick and secure way to transfer money. Wire transfers are recommended when a high degree of security and speed is required for transferring funds, particularly for transactions involving large sums of money, for example international payments.

To pay with a wire transfer, you will need to provide your bank with the amount you wish to transfer and our bank account details, including account number, bank name, and routing number, which will be attached in email sent from travel consultant. Your bank will then initiate the wire transfer by sending the funds electronically to our bank account. We will typically receive the funds within 1~3 days.

It's important to note that wire transfers often come with service fees which usually are charged per transaction. You can check with your bank to understand the costs associated with your payment. In some countries, you can directly transfer Chinese currency - Ren Min Bi to us.

PayPal - Recommended for Small-amount Payment and Credit Card

PayPal is an online payment system that allows users to send and receive money electronically, quickly and securely. It can be used to transfer money to oversea account.

To pay with PayPal, you will need to create a PayPal account, which is simple and can be done by visiting the PayPal website and following the sign-up process. Once you have a PayPal account, you can link it to your bank account or credit/debit card, which will allow you to transfer funds to our PayPal account. PayPal charge a certain percentage of your payment as service fee, which means it is more recommended for small amount payment. You can check service fee with your travel consultant or PayPal website.

If you choose to pay by PayPal, your travel consultant will send you a payment link via email with your customer-ID, the amount due, and the names of both you and your travel consultant. Click on the "Pay Now" button to be directed to the secure official PayPal site where you can make your payment. If you have a PayPal account, you can send the payment directly from your account without sharing any credit card information. If you do not have a PayPal account, don't worry - you can easily set one up or pay via credit card through PayPal. Our PayPal account details will also be provided in an email from your travel consultant.

Western Union

The Western Union is a global payment services company that allows individuals to send and receive money around the world. It is recommended when you need to send money quickly and securely to someone in a different country or location. It can be particularly useful if the recipient doesn't have a bank account. It's important to be cautious when sending money through Western Union, as scammers may try to take advantage of the service.

To pay with Western Union, you will need to:

1) Find a Western Union location near you or use their online service to send money.
2) Provide the Western Union necessary recipient information including name, location, and the amount you want to send.
3) Choose the payment method, which can include cash, credit/debit card, or bank transfer, depending on your location.
4) Pay the transfer fee and any additional fees associated with your chosen payment method.
5) Receive a tracking number, which you will share with us so we can pick up the money.

WeChat Pay - Recommended for Chinese Currency

If you have Chinese Ren Min Bi (RMB) on your Wechat, or you're a foreigner living in China with a Wechat account, you can make payment to us with Wechat Pay.

WeChat Pay is a fast mobile payment service provided by WeChat, a popular social media and messaging app in China. It allows users to make mobile payments, send and receive money, pay bills, and make online purchases. WeChat Pay is recommended for individuals who frequently use WeChat and need a convenient way to make payments or send money in China. It is also useful for travelers visiting China, as many businesses in China now accept WeChat Pay as a payment method.

To pay with WeChat Pay, you will need to:

1) Download and install the WeChat app on your mobile device.
2) Set up a WeChat account and link your bank account or credit card.
3) Go to the "Wallet" section of the app and select "Cards" to add a payment card to your WeChat Pay account.
4) To make a payment, select "Scan" to scan a QR code or select "Pay" to enter the recipient's phone number or WeChat ID (provided by your travel consultant).
5) Enter the amount to be paid and confirm the transaction.

Alipay - Recommended for Chinese Currency

Alipay is similar to Wechat Pay. It is a popular mobile payment service in China, allowing users to make mobile payments, send and receive money, pay bills, and make online purchases very quickly. To pay our tour and services with Alipay, you also need to have Chinese Ren Min Bi (RMB) on your Alipay, or you're a foreigner living in China with a Alipay account.

To pay with Alipay, you will need to:

1) Download and install the Alipay app on your mobile device.
2) Set up an Alipay account and link your bank account or credit card.
3) Go to the "Pay" section of the app and select "Scan" to scan a QR code or select "Pay" to enter the recipient's phone number or Alipay ID (provided by your travel consultant).
4) Enter the amount to be paid and confirm the transaction.
