“Century Legend Cruise of the Yangtze River”
Overall it was a great experience and I am glad I took the opportunity out to see central China which is off the beaten path for most Western Tourists. For Chinese standards, great customer service. Whenever I sent an email to customer service regarding my ticket I got a response almost instantly and it was in English. The Cruise Manager on board was Johnny and he was also extremely helpful and had great English was able to help us with whatever we needed. Overall it was the perfect balance of relaxation plus seeing a lot of different things in Central China.
“Yangtze River Cruise”
The Century Legend is one of the new boats in the series. All the trimmings are new and well maintained. It is very well sized room with a nice ensuite bathroom/toilet room. The staff are simply amazing. Very helpful and always smiling. The food is quite good and had a wide range of varieties. Everyday is was different. The shore excursions are well organized and we took the Fengdu Ghost City, the Three Gorges Dam site and the Goddess Stream excursions. Each of them were spectacular. Would recommend to everyone who visits China. We had two sunny days and one rainy day, so saw the sceneries from both the perspectives.
“Enjoyable cruise with Century Legend”
We did the 4 day/3 night three gorges cruise on the Century Legend. Boat was great with big room and balcony. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Food was ok, plentiful but a bit repetitive. Unfortunately we had misty, overcast weather at end of April. Scenery was spectacular but would have been better. Going through the lock system was interesting and the whole dam project is a great engineering feat. As it was in the middle of our holiday, it was great to have a few relaxing days.
