How to Get to & around Wuhan

It is the biggest airport in central China. The airport operates flights to 55 domestic cities and 23 international cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Xian, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Chengdu, Nanchang, Nanjing, Fuzhou, Seoul, Bangkok, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Singapore, etc.

Transfer Tips:
Located 26 km northwest of Wuhan, it is about 25 minutes to the city center. Transport between the airport and the urban area is very convenient. Every hour, the airport shuttle bus leaves for the Wuhan downtown.

Every day, there are over 70 trains departing from Wuhan railway stations and more than 120 trains pass here. Currently, there are three railway stations for passengers in Wuhan: Wuhan Railway Station, Wuchang Railway Station and Hankou Railway Station.

Wuhan Railway Station

This station offers passenger service on the Beijing - Guangzhou Railway Line. It is near Yangchun Lake, Qingshan District in Wuhan. You could get to Hubei Provincial Museum for about 20 minutes by the taxi. Besides, you could take the bus 392/610 and transfer to bus 109 to get there for about 1.5 hours. To go to the Yellow Crane Tower, you could take the Transit Rail Line 4 and transfer to bus 402 for about 1 hour.

Wuchang Railway Station

It is mainly responsible for freight and general transport. Located in Zhongshan Road, Wuchang District, Wuhan. Wuhan Transit Rail Line 4 can take to Hubei Provincial Museum for about 40 minutes, and you should get off at Dongting Stop. From Wuchang Station to Yellow Crane Tower, you need only about 25-30 minutes by the local bus 402/561/10, etc.

Hankou Railway Station

The station is mainly responsible for travelers on the Shanghai - Wuhan - Chengdu line. Located in Jinjiadun, Jiangshan District, Wuhan. It would take you about 25 minutes to get to Guiyuan Temple, 30 minutes to Yellow Crane Tower, and 35 minutes to Hubei Provincial Museum, etc.

Get around Wuhan
