Ergun city is a popular stopover to stay on the way to travel further north from Hulunbuir Grassland to the forests and Russian Towns, and also the way getting back. The picturesque Ergun Wetland Scenic Area is only 3.5 kilometers and 10 minutes away by car. There are two best Russian Towns in China - Shiwei and Enhe. They are all located in Ergun. Enhe is on the way from Ergun to Shiwei. Shiwei is more popular, because it has stronger flavor of Russia and looks Russia across the river. The two Russian Towns are featured with not only Russian traditions and foods, but also Mukeden Houses - the typical Russian folk houses.
